On Thursday, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) lashed out at Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), calling her recent comments regarding Fast and Furious "mind-numbingly stupid," and suggested she "schedule an appointment" with a doctor.
On Thursday, Pelosi claimed that the contempt vote against Attorney General Eric Holder was part of a grand conspiracy to undermine his fight against voter suppression.
“This is no accident. It is no coincidence. It is a plan on the part of the Republicans,” Pelosi said.
“It’s really beneath the office of a member of Congress to say something that outrageous, and the fact that she was once the speaker is mind-numbing,” Rep. Gowdy told Fox News' Greta van Susteren.
"I have heard a lot in my 16 years as a prosecutor. I couldn’t believe the words coming out of her mouth," he added.
Gowdy calls Pelosi mind-numbingly stupid "I don’t know what was wrong with her when she said that. But I would schedule an appointment with my doctor if she thinks that we are doing this to suppress votes this fall. That is mind-numbingly stupid," Gowdy said.
Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit reminded readers that "Pelosi also said Democrats brought down the deficit after they increased it by a trillion dollars."
"She’s either mind-numbingly stupid or a chronic liar, or both," Hoft wrote.
Gowdy also took the administration to task for invoking executive privilege at the last minute.
”If executive privilege were so sacred, they would have invoked it 10 months ago,” he said. “To wait 10 minutes before we start a markup? They still haven’t told us which documents are privileged.”
On Wednesday, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted along party lines to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress over documents relating to Fast and Furious.
The whole House is set to vote on the contempt charge sometime next week.

I am utterly dumbfounded that this administration has allowed and participated in this level of corruption. From Bhenghazi to the IRS scandal, I think the stuff we know about is pale in comparison to what is still to be discovered. I just hope that the conservatives have the balls to see it through.

Did you know that in 1976, our government passed a law making it a felony for the IRS to target specific indivuals or organizations? That law was created because of Nixon having an 'enemies list' and using government agencies to 'punish' those who made the list.
Now it is time for the House to initiate action to determine who specifically was the one who promoted the deliberate actions that were intended to cause harm to the groups on Obama's enemies list. I do not believe that was the result of some temporary employee who resigned, he had to resign anyway as he was a temporary IRS Director and they are limited to specific terms of office. He had to resign anyway and Obama choose him to take the fall as he was leaving anyway. Now it is time for Congress to act - put some people in jail just as was done during the Nixon scandal.
This lying dude has a news conference schedule for today and I am interested in just who he throws under the bus. I would also like to know if any of the mainstream media will open their eyes and take this misfit to task over his illegal activities. I have been encouraged by their questioning of Jay Carney at his routine news briefings. He has been caught in so many lies that he is getting reluctant to even accept questions from the white house press core.
Maybe this is the beginning of the end for the George Soros presidency.

It is not just politics. Today, our business leaders are not concerned with the company they work for, but rather what money and benefits that they can extract from that company. Even at the middle management levels, they are willing to scuttle the company for personal gain. I have been there and for the last 20 years I worked, I saw repeated examples of this all for one, me, management style.
IMHO, we have gone over the cliff and now can only delay the inevitable slide into the nothingness that comes when a democracy fails. We will see more election day promises that cannot possibly be kept and we will see voters who are more concerned with the handouts that they get from the government than they are with whether or not the country survives.
Germany and the European Market countries are big enough to bail out Greece, but there is no country with the where with all to bail out the USA. When we reach that point, some politician will declare that this country must take extreme measures to survive and he will declare himself powers that enable him to become a dictator and he will destroy any who oppose him. They will become 'enemies of the state' and will be disposed of appropriately.

It was apparent when Obama was re-elected that this country has no future. People and the media ignored the fact that Obama was one of the worst first term presidents we have ever had. Our children and our grandkids future has been mortgaged, and future elections are in the hands of citizens in our cesspool cities. Party politics are now more important than the good of our country. Lawyers, politicians and the media have put this county onto a point of no return.
As anyone paying attention to the Benghazi tragedy has long suspected....the Obama administration and the State Dept. covered up Benghazi with blatant lies to the American people! Among the American media....only Fox news has been covering the Benghazi tragegy and asking questions that needed answered. In contrast, the other media has ignored Benghazi and supported Obama and the State dept. despite the obvious lies and coverups.
What is beyond sad....beyond dangerous....is that we have an American media that instead of holding our govt. officials accountable and demanding the truth...the media instead has become a democrat/liberal supporter and participates in coverups. The fact is that when an American embassy is attacked and Americans are killed including our ambassador...the American public and the media should have long demanded answers, truth and accountability.Instead, we saw lies and silence!
The Benghazi tragedy is yet another example of the incredible danger facing America and our very democracy....when a media supports radicals getting elected and then supports and coverups the radicals dangerous policies, lies and incompetance....America's very future is put at great risk. Add to this....a majority of Americans who are uninformed, or are voting for govt. handouts....or flat out don't care....and you have a receipe for a very bleak American future. The very fact that despite America's unbelievable debt coupled with out of control spending....we have an American electorate that basically doesn't give a damn! Now add to the growing flood of illegals (future democratic voters) crossing our southern border and it's hard to see how another republican or conservative will ever be elected.
Many conservatives knew that 4 more years of Obama would be a disaster for America and we are seeing and will continue to see this disaster unfold before our eyes over the next 4 years and likely beyond when another radical liberal is elected.
